Title: Vestige
Date: 2026
Material: Nylon monofilament warp, TPE weft

Vestige is a handwoven textile sculpture that reads as a fragment or artefact rather than a closed object. Woven entirely on the loom from a single continuous cloth, the work separates into twelve layered passages that intersect, diverge, and reconnect before resolving into a unified three-dimensional structure.

Resting on a surface, the sculpture invites movement around it as overlapping layers create shifting transparency, depth, and interior views that change with light and perspective. Constructed without armature or post-loom fabrication, Vestige emerges through sustained, labor-intensive weaving, reflecting a quiet balance between fragmentation and cohesion, presence and transformation.
