Title: Untitled
Date: 2026
Material: Nylon monofilament warp, TPE weft, cotton/linen weft

Handwoven entirely on loom, this sculpture begins as a single layer of cloth, expanding and contracting through a carefully orchestrated layering process: 1 → 3 → 12 → 3 → 1. The resulting circular form contains a diamond-shaped core, rendered in a cotton and linen blend, that appears to float within the transparent synthetic weave.

The interplay of layers and translucency invites viewers to move around the piece, revealing subtle shifts of color, geometry, and depth. The diamond’s position and intensity change with perspective, suggesting a presence that is sensed more than fully seen. The work continues the series’ exploration of layered apertures, perception, and the tension between materiality and the ephemeral.
