Title: Interstice
Date: 2026
Material: Nylon monofilament warp, TPE weft

Starting from a single cloth, this sculpture unfolds and contracts through a handwoven process that adds and releases stitches to manipulate form. The technique, developed by the artist, translates the logic of knitting into a three-dimensional structure, creating an expanding diamond pattern that grows outward before returning inward.

Constructed with translucent nylon warp and TPE weft, the work explores tension, elasticity, and the delicate interplay between expansion and contraction. Its shifting geometry invites viewers to trace the subtle movement of space and light across the surface, revealing the sculpture’s internal rhythm and sculptural volume.
