Title: Gestalt
Year: 2016
Material: Polyester, spandex

This project explores garment creation through a single integrated weaving process, merging fabric production and construction to reduce waste and material complexity. Complete garments are woven directly on the loom, requiring no sewing or additional assembly once removed. The form emerges through woven structure and material selection, with synthetic yarns allowing ultra-sonic edges that seal without fraying.

By applying standard industrial jacquard machinery in unconventional ways, the work proposes a more streamlined approach to manufacturing, where multiple stages of production collapse into a single continuous system. It reflects an interest in efficiency, transformation, and the potential for sustainable design to exist within contemporary industrial processes.
